Overview
The North Sea Jazz Festival is an annual festival, happening every year in the second week of July, in Ahoy venue, in Rotterdam. It is Netherlands’ most prestigious jazz event, attracting international media coverage and the world’s most famous jazz musicians.
The first festival took place in The Hague in 1976. In 2006 it moved to Rotterdam and it hosts more than a thousand musicians, spread over 150 performances. It’s the largest indoor music festival in the world, hosting over 60,000 visitors each year.
