Overview

The Grote Markt is in the heart of the city is a favorite by the locals. Its surrounded by many bars and clubs. They come here for a cup of coffee in the morning, enjoy great food, party with some drinks, and one of the many festivals taking place in the market throughout the year.

In the middle of the square, you’ll find a statue of the iconic comic book figure Haagse Harry. Harry is a popular Dutch comic book series in which the main character speaks a phonetic Hague dialect.
