Overview

The exhibition is located in the underground crypt of the Baroque Church of Sts Cyril and Methodius. It was Once the site of a World War II standoff. The museum is small but very influential and worth visiting.

During the visit, you’ll learn the story of brave Czech paratroopers who killed SS-Obergrupenführer Reinhard Heydrich in Operation Anthropoid. Jan Kubiš and Josef Gabčík escaped to this church and the crypt under the church together with five more paratroopers. After hiding for 20 days, they died in battle against 700 Nazi soldiers.
