Laon is a town of art and history. This medieval town of Laon, flanked by seven kilometers of ramparts, contains over eighty listed or classified historical monuments. Its colorful cobbled streets offer shops, bars, and bistros. One of Laon’s most known points of interest is its beautiful Gothic 12th-century Cathedral, topped by five mighty towers. Once inside the cathedral, appreciate the splendid elevation of the nave, as well as the magnificent stained glass windows.
