Clingendael is one of the most beautiful estates in the Netherlands. The estates’ park is gorgeous. It has an English landscape style and offers different points of interest, such as the Japanese garden, a large playground, walking routes, and tearoom.

Clingendael Park Japanese Garden

The Japanese Gardens are magnificent. Note that they can only be visited during a short period of the year due to their fragility.

 

Hiking and Riding Trails

The park has an extensive network of walking trails, where you can like, bike, or take a nice walk.

There are two officially marked walking routes. Red route of 2km (1.24 miles), and a yellow route of 4km (2.48 miles). They are marked with posts, and you can find the start 50 meters (165 feet) on the right after the main entrance gate.
