Overview
The Binnenhof is a complex of buildings in The Hague, Netherlands. Originally it was a medieval building complex, but now serves the Houses of Representatives, the Senate, and the Ministry of General Affairs.
Knights Hall (Ridderzaal)
Ridderzaal building is the most impressive part of the Binnenhof. Although the building’s current design was completed towards the end of the last century, the Ridderazaal was initially constructed in the 13th and 14th centuries. It was initially built as a large hall for the Counts of Holland, as well as being used as a courtroom.
