Overview
Amiens is the biggest Cathedral in France. Built more than 800 years ago, the great Gothic Cathedral, with its flourishes and stained glass, is a very inspiring place to visit.
You can visit the cathedral by day or when it’s getting dark. During the day, you’ll enjoy the enormous interior, filled with sculptures and wall drawings, and detailed arched ceilings. In case you arrive when it’s already dark, you’ll find a totally different experience. The cathedral’s exterior is illuminated with a free 50 minutes light performance that will make you gasp in wonder. This show runs throughout the summer and in December during the Christmas market.
