However, what most people forget is that they can experience significantly fewer crowds during the actual holidays. So, if there is a possibility to travel during an exact big holiday, that will save you plenty of stress as well as the money.

For instance, you can consider Thanksgiving Day, Christmas day, etc., because those are the days when the fewest flights are booked. However, flying on such holidays might not be the best solution for some individuals.

Usually, booking on Tuesday at 3:00 P.M. can offer slightly lower prices. Most flights are also slightly cheaper just after midnight any night. Some websites use browser cookies to know you were looking for that flight and might use it to increase prices. It’s always a great tip to delete browser cookies before booking.
